on the 4th, we spent the day seeing the sights before heading home to rest up for the late night fireworks.
(10:30pm!? wayyyy past my bedtime.)

someday, i want to watch the fireworks from a boat. the next morning on my way to the airport i saw most of these boats out on the water...SLUMBER PARTY. incredible.

P.S..... I watched the fireworks one 4th of July in a boat next to the Statue of Liberty with Liz Crandall and her sister and her fiance and his fancy Wall Street friends...one of whom owned the boat. Pretty cool!
