our journey from nice to normandy is one that i'll never forget. an eleven hour train ride that included runaways, smelly dogs, jeremy becoming some french woman's hero, and the worst night's sleep of my life forever and always. it was amazing.
after 14+ hours of traveling, we made it to rouen and anything negative about the previous 14+ hours melted away.
wow x 1,000,000.
rouen is joan of arc's birthplace and the place where she was burned at the stake. it was THE PERFECT place to start our time in normandy and just looking at these pictures makes me ache to go back right now. it was magic. there are no words.
we'll be back, that's a promise.
