versailles

the pape residence is only about ten miles from the largest palace in the world.  in fact, the hunting gardens of the palace double as the park the pape's take their dog to play.  not bad, eh?

remember how we got soaked in milan because SOMEBODY forgot the umbrella?  well, i'm not going to name any names (it wasn't me), but that same person (not me) forgot the umbrella on this day, too.
and would you look at those clouds?

yeah.

hey, at least our bellies were full while we ran from tree to tree seeking shelter from the HAIL!
at one point, we took cover in a souvenir shop with a bunch of first grade-looking students.  i made a joke to jeremy about the kids spending their lunch money in the shop out of boredom and what do you know?  fifteen minutes later i found a ring for peri and found myself at the end of a very long line of little people buying up all of the pencils and chocolates in the shape of a palaces their lunch money could buy.

it was so great.

thumbs up i'm soaked and that wallpaper's cool!

marie antoinette's hamlet was so incredible, it had jeremy and i running around like fools.
THERE WAS EVEN A POTBELLY PIG.
AND GOATS.

incredible.
