in milan we stayed in a crusty five floor walk up and it rained cats AND dogs. woof.
i am of the opinion that there is no better way to bond with your spouse than in an awkward, strange, horrible, or embarrassing situation. i'm pretty sure that milan included all of those things...and most of them came about in the shared bathroom on the second floor.
but milan was still a dream. obviously.
the train that took us north was enough to make me swoon, but the city?! wow, guys. wow.
the rain couldn't kill this party. not when there was shopping to be done and buffalo mozzarella to be had!

oh gosh this brings back so many memories. i was in milan last summer and absolutely loved it. i'm sorry it rained during your stay but it looks like you had a ton of fun! where north did you go after? xo
